Room 11 in December

Without a doubt the children in Room 11 have been very busy this month preparing for the Christmas Season. I think everyone would agree with me when I say they put on a brilliant performance in their school play. The children worked very hard during rehearsals to make Miracle in Town a wonderful play to watch.

The children had a pyjama party as a reward for lining up walking through the school quietly.

To our surprise Santa bounced in the door to say hello. We would have loved for him to stay a bit longer but understand he is probably under a lot of pressure in the North Pole. We hope those elves are not dossing when he's out on his visits.

Wow!!! What a show. Well done to all the girls in 5th and 6th and the teachers who helped organise the Musical. We loved the singing, the dancing and most of all we loved that there were guns!!

Stepping it up to Hakuna Matata.

Hakuna Matata... it means no worries.

Room 11 have certainly proved they have got great dance moves with our new dance teacher Kevin. In the last few weeks the children have been learning a dance routine to Hakuna Matata. I bet they would have no problem showing off these dance moves at home.

We are becoming really cool Food Dudes!

Munching on fruit and vegetables doesn't always come easy to us BUT we have learned how good these foods are for our bodies.
Some of us have never tried some of these fruit and vegetables before because we thought they looked "yucky". However after doing our best to taste all the fruit and vegetables we have agreed to make a BIG BIG effort to continue to make healthy food choices.

During golden time in first class the children grasp the opportunity to engage with fun activities with their friends.  Here are some of their creations.
